Lost Cat Found 3 1/2 Years Later

Dicey was an outdoor-access cat that lived in San Francisco next to the Presidio, San Francisco’s large wooded national park which is filled with wildlife.  She went missing in 2003 after her owners adopted a new dog.  Dicey was found 3 1/2 years later still living in the Presidio less than 1 mile from her home.  She was rescued by a woman who feeds and rescues stray animals.  Her rescuer brought Dicey to a local vet, where she was scanned for a microchip and reunited with her family.
