Cat Lost After Hurricane Katrina Found 5 Years Later

Scrub, an indoor-only cat, went missing from his home shortly after Hurricane Katrina.  Five years later, Scrub was brought to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, and was reunited with his owner after they scanned him for a microchip.  Scrub’s rescuer was a woman who had been feeding him for the past two months and brought him to the humane society when the weather turned cold.
